The intensity of algae in cosmetics inspired me early on. My teacher and trainer in Saarbrücken

t the time, Madame Mireille Jochum-Guillou, certainly made her contribution to this. She was a

pioneer in the field of algae research and the development of the first cosmetic products with algae

ack in the 1960s.

Ultimately, however, it was the serious illness of my daughter Victoria, who contracted leukemia

at the age of 11, that prompted me to make my own cosmetics. She got healthy thanks to great

doctors and her brother's bone marrow donation.

For her skin, however, the whole thing was pure stress with the corresponding long-term

consequences - radiation damage to various parts of her body, a graft versus host reaction and a

pronounced skin dryness.

Today, 12 years later, these spots have not disappeared, but have softened and become tolerable for them thanks to many treatments with our algae products and daily care. Unfortunately, we first tried the conventional ointments and tinctures, but they brought no improvement. I am firmly convinced that if we had had our products available earlier, this skin damage would have completely disappeared today!!!
